FEE & COST STRUCTURE
Jantje & Associates is a law firm that provides fully commercial/ business litigation and non-litigation services, but also provides pro bono services for the appropriate strata of society. With this pattern, J&A can do such cross subsidize, so that on the one hand institutional development and growth can occur, and on the other hand J&A has the opportunity and can provide charitable services.
The applied financing structure consists of Lawyer Professional Fee (+) Operational Fee (+ for certain cases) Success Fee, which will be stated in the invoice based on the amount agreed by the client. The calculation of the total costs by taking into account and considering the level of complexity of the case and the estimated time period required for it.
This is already the common terms and conditions of payment for legal services practice, the client pays up-front / in advance the entire total value of the invoice when the Special Power of Attorney (+ Legal Service Agreement) is signed by the clients.
J&A can be hired upon request (per case – on demand), or can be assigned as or become a company legal general counsel, company’s lawyer, and/or legal consultant on a more permanent basis with a retainer pattern (with a subscription contract per 3, 6, or 12 months which can be extended).
Legal consultation services (incidental – on case by case basis) are provided with an hourly billing model with a nominal hourly billing rate (minimum charge for 1 hour) which differs between consultations face to face or on site, by phone or zoom, or via whatsapp and e-mail.
Overall fees charged to clients – without sacrificing the best quality of service – are calculated very carefully and eliminate less significant variable costs, so that the calculated costs are pure and very affordable. Just prove it!
